New Label Launches with New Approach

Hartford, CT, December 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Conspiracy Theory Entertainment Group (CTEG) is a new record label that represents an entirely new approach to conducting business with artists. The main focus for CTEG is to build artists into entrepreneurs and to enter into partnerships with artists rather than to adhere to the archaic business plans of existing record labels. While primarily a hip hop label, CTEG looks to expand its horizons, not only to other genres but also to other forms of media. To that end, one of the first projects slated for release will be a book of music industry contacts titled The 2009 Urban Music Industry Resource Book.

Part of that change comes in the form of helping artists empower themselves while giving them the tools and environment to develop their skills as a professional working artist. CTEG co-owner/C.E.O., Benny Black, is an artist and a DJ and co-owner/C.O.O. P-Needlz is also a DJ, and that probably explains their approach to doing business with artists. The ultimate goal of Benny Black and P-Needlz is to create great music and to do so, they realize that artists have to have the right support network and that's where CTEG comes in. CTEG will form the bridge between artists and fans (aka the music buying public) and assist their artists with distribution (digital and physical), artistic/creative development, publicity, and marketing.
