ActionCOACH Juan S. Folch is Ready to Take on the Corporate World in His New Role as an Executive Coach
Juan strongly believes ActionCOACH will hit the executive coaching market ‘twice as hard’ as its competitors.
Las Vegas, NV, December 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- As soon as ActionCOACH – the number one business coaching firm in the world – launched its executive coaching program, Juan Folch, based on his past successful experiences, decided to add this certification to his existing ActionCOACH qualifications.
Prior to investing in his ActionCOACH business coaching franchise in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Ontario, Canada, Folch coached executives in the corporate world for 16 years, working as VP of Corporate Marketing Services for a world-wide leader in cement, ready mix and aggregates.
“In that position I was responsible with my team for changing an existing culture where ‘customer was often seen as a hindrance who interferes with our production,’ to a fully customer-oriented mentality across all tiers of the organization” he said.
“Executives, like most people, require a sounding board where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be voiced or discussed by a receptive and understanding listener,” he said. “There is also often a need to re-identify those issues to really focus on; in most corporations, departments and business units are basically like small businesses and face similar issues of time management, team effectiveness, accountability, innovation and generating more money (profits). Yet they often operate in an environment that lacks the flexibility, the responsiveness and entrepreneurial mindset of successful small businesses.”
Less than a week out of training and Folch already has a solid plan.
“I have identified many opportunities: the cement / ready-mix industries (my past job contacts), the transport industry (I am presently coaching a large transport company), the construction industry (through my membership with an important association) and a hospital,” he said.
Folch believes that, as organizations reduce the number of layers in their corporate structure, there are now greater demands on the executives and CEOs – which in turn makes them too busy with the day-to-day activities and in need of an “outside perspective” as well as support.
Quoting from Tom Peters’ book, “Thriving in Chaos:” ‘He, who hits first (in a market), hits twice as hard,’ Folch believes ActionCOACH will continue to bring innovation in the executive coaching category as successfully as it has done in the small-to-medium business environment.
“The ActionCOACH community has the assets to do so in terms of knowledge, world presence and experienced coaches,” he said. “The market is huge, the need is greater today than ever before and with our coverage in five continents, we are in a very strong position to respond to that need.”
ActionCOACH is the world’s number one business coaching and executive coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries. To learn more, please visit them at www.actioncoach.com
