Richland, WA, December 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- POSitive Software Company, a leading developer of point of sale software, will be webcasting POSCon, its annual dealer conference held in Orlando, Florida on January 12 and 13. Dealers or VARs interested in becoming POSitive dealers can attend the conference through the webcast at no additional charge.
Of particular interest will be the official debut of POSitive GEM – Green Enterprise Management, a sophisticated yet intuitive point-of-sale software designed specifically for the "green industry", which encompasses greenhouses, nurseries and landscape suppliers.
"We are really excited about the release of POSitive GEM, our first product designed for a specific vertical market", said Wayne Heaton, V.P. of Sales for POSitive Software. "It is generating considerable interest among our current dealers and potential new ones as well."
Leading the introduction of POSitive GEM will be Dan Spikowski of G7 USA, an expert in providing accounting and point of sale solutions to the green industry.
"Selling POS solutions is a great business, but VAR's have to target vertical markets in order to maintain profit margins", commented Spikowski. The green industry is wide open and POSitive GEM fits this market like a fine Italian suite".
Also on hand will be representatives from M-S Cash Drawer Corporation who will demonstrate new products and are furnishing several door prizes.
