Sonitrol Pacific detects suspicious activity and sends police to arrest man suspected of attempting to break-in to a Check Masters before he can get inside.
Everett, WA, December 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Everett Police Officers arrested one man suspected of attempting to break into a Check Masters December 22 after a Sonitrol Pacific audio intrusion detection system alerted officers to suspicious activity.
Award winning operator Michael Young received an activation of the Check Masters’ audio security system around 4:30 a.m. He listened to real-time audio from the building to verify the alarm and heard banging sounds. He immediately called police.
Despite the unusually severe winter storm, officers quickly arrived on scene and saw two men running from the Check Masters. Police gave chase, caught and arrested one of the men.
According to police, the lock on the store’s back door was bent and the two men were attempting to break-in. Thanks to the fast response by Young and the Everett Police, the suspects didn’t get inside.
