Web Site Unveiled for 2009 A Toast to the Triangle™
Raleigh, NC, December 25, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Mary Freeman, president and CEO of the Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities, has announced the launch of the 24th annual A Toast to the Triangle™ Web site at www.atoasttothetriangle.org. The fundraising event offers guests samples from more than 40 of the area’s finest restaurants, caterers and purveyors of fine wines and specialty beers, as well as friendly competition among the participants. The Web site, designed and donated by BP Studios in Durham, features information on time, date, location, ticket sales, participating vendors and sponsors, as well as ways individuals can donate or volunteer for the event.
The Toast raises funds for the Tammy Lynn Memorial Foundation, Inc., which in turn supports programs and services of the Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities. The Center provides educational, residential and family support services for children and adults with special needs.
The 2009 Toast will be held on March 8, 2009 at the North Carolina State University McKimmon Center in Raleigh. Last year, more than 1,200 guests were in attendance, helping raise $212,000.
