Creating a Joyful Image of the World One Photo at a Time

Vancouver, WA, December 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- ISpyJoy.com, a new website dedicated to joy, now has joyous photos from seven countries, six U.S. states and thirty-five cities. Just four months after its inception, ISpyJoy.com is creating a joyful image of the world one photo at a time.

“Joy lives,” asserts founder and creator Michele M. Larsen, “and it’s highly contagious. All we have to do is see it and it spreads.” With nearly 16,000 visitors in the first four months online, ISpyJoy.com is well on its way to the goal of spreading joy to millions of people all over the world.

The website creates a place for people to share the joy they’ve captured on film and spread it to others. “Ultimately, I’d love for people to be able to log on and see joy from every country – and eventually every city – in the world,” said Larsen. Currently, the site has images from the U.S., Italy, New Zealand, Paraguay, Peru, Russia and Thailand.

Larsen started the website and blog as a way to chronicle her own journey toward happiness. Realizing we often find what we’re looking for, she chose the name from the I Spy game often played on long car drives as a child.

People everywhere are invited to share joy by posting images capturing the expression on the website. There’s no fee to post images or view them; and people posting can designate their images to only be shared online or to also be included in the possibly resulting book.
