Amber Alert Issued for New Jersey Infant (Kiyah Gibson) Age - 1
Amber Alert Update & Cancellation: New Jersey state police this morning canceled an Amber Alert for Kiyah Gibson whose mother alleged she had been taken in a carjacking. Authorities said the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute.
Springfield, IL, June 16, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The New Jersey State Police Bloomfield Station is currently investigating a reported carjacking which occurred on 14th Avenue in the City of Newark, NJ at approximately 0830 hours on Friday, June 16, 2006. The unknown black male suspect is reported to have carjacked a 2004 2 door Honda Civic (possibly dark green) with a New Jersey temporary registration in the back window with a broken driver side window.
The two victims in the vehicle were Tasha Gibson of Newark and her one year old daughter, Kiyah Gibson. Suspect drove the two victims onto the Garden State Parkway where he forced Tasha Gibson out of the vehicle near milepost 148 and drove from the scene with the child still in the vehicle, continuing northbound on the Garden State Parkway.
