Woman Who Lost 100 Pounds Opens Goal-Setting Social Network
Woman who lost 100 pounds shares how to set and achieve your goals through a new goal-setting social network site whose launch date coincides to help make your New Year's resolutions stick.
Boise, ID, January 02, 2009 --(PR.com)-- www.TheSecretGratitudeRock.com announces the January 01, 2009 launch of a new social network site that caters to goal-setting. In late 2007, after losing nearly one hundred pounds, Michelle Niederer founded www.TheSecretGratitudeRock.com as a free online information portal to help others set and achieve their goals. The new social network portion of the site is the logical next step to provide a supportive, interactive environment for goal-oriented individuals.
Niederer developed the site herself after learning that the cost was prohibitive to having it professionally done. Rather than give up her dream, she made use of her local library and did research online to develop the skills needed to bring her vision to life.
"At 229 pounds, very few people believed I could be successful in my weight loss journey. I started out wanting to prove to them that I could do it; but by the time I neared that 100 pound mark, I had learned that believing in myself is all that really matters. No dream is too big if you have a strong enough purpose for achieving it. Losing such a vast amount of weight gave me a very visible example of what I can do when I really commit myself to my purpose. It isn't just weight loss; the same thing applies to any goal you set. That's what I want others to experience."
The new portion of the site will provide free goal-setting guides, templates, and a Transformation Specialist team to provide support, encouragement, and information along the way.
www.TheSecretGratitudeRock.com is an online virtual neighborhood – a resource center designed to support personal growth and development across all aspects of life. All of the content is free, and 10% of all advertising and program dollars are donated to support humanitarian efforts around the world. The website was created in 2007.
