A Time for Giving. Seasons Greetings from Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket.

Phuket, Thailand, January 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The season of giving ordinarily sees the Sales and Marketing team at Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket delivering Christmas Hampers to clients. In a twist of tradition the team decided that this year they would donate Christmas gifts to the pupils and teachers of the Baan Klong Sai School in Phang-nga province.

Representatives from the resort’s Sales and Marketing team traveled to Phang-nga on 23rd December to host lunch and to offer Christmas gifts to students and teachers.

Ashleigh Brayshaw, Marketing Communications Manager commenced by presenting Khun Charlerm, Head Master of the school with the first gift, followed by the giving of gifts to all pupils. A specially prepared lunch provided by the resort was enjoyed before some fun games and karaoke.

Laguna Phuket’s social committee, who manage the company’s CSR activities have an ongoing initiative to support the Baan Klong Sai School. In July, earlier this year, Laguna Phuket and the ESPN STAR Sports football broadcasting team together raised almost THB 1,000,000 for Ban Klong Sai School renovation works which were desperately needed to improve the school’s health and safety standards.
