ThumbPeople Announces Thumbuddy Buddy Award
Burnsville, MN, January 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- ThumbPeople, Inc. has established the Thumbuddy Buddy Award to be awarded twice a year to encourage and recognize individuals who are truly being “Thumbuddy” in life – that is they are making a positive imprint in the lives of others.
ThumbPeople spokesperson, Cathy Kirschner, says that, “ThumbPeople is founded on the philosophy that just as your thumb leaves a unique, one-of-a-kind thumbprint, your life also leaves a unique, one-of-a-kind imprint in the world. The Thumbuddy Buddy Award is being established to affirm and encourage individuals to leave a positive imprint in the world.”
The Thumbuddy Buddy Award is awarded to individuals of any age who have been nominated based on their positive imprint in the world.
Examples of nominations could include but are not limited to:
Kids can nominate their favorite librarian, babysitter, lunch lady, recess supervisor, orthodontist, etc. highlighting how their kindness and efforts leave an imprint and brighten the lives of others.
A teacher could nominate a student who consistently leaves an imprint on other students by being a conscientious and hardworking example.
Parents can nominate a Sunday School teacher, Scout leader, special education para, classroom helper, coach, etc. who unselfishly gives of their time and talents making a positive imprint in the lives of kids.
