HarborPlace Hosts “Brunch and Brief” Program
HarborPlace was pleased to have a full house at their first “Brunch and Brief” program, held on Friday, January 2, 2009.
Port St. Lucie, FL, January 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The attendees and HarborPlace managers introduced themselves, then talked briefly about HarborPlace, especially Independent Living and the move-in specials offered through January 15, 2009.
While the attendees enjoyed brunch, the managers answered their questions about selling their homes through a new partnership HarborPlace has with senior real estate specialists Lifestyle Realty Group (www.LifestyleRealtyGroup.com). Also addressed were questions concerning the differences between buy-in versus rental, and Independent Living as compared with Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing.
Recreational Director Barbara Calnen mentioned to those attending that HarborPlace offers scheduled transportation to their residents for doctor’s visits, shopping, and various activities.
Following the meal, many commented, “We enjoyed the delicious eggs Benedict, vegetables, and dessert, which was a beautiful presentation of a baby chocolate Bundt cake with an orchid.”
Betty Hartog of Fort Pierce added, “The food is always excellent here.” A friend who had bought a house, but now feels that it is too much for her to manage on her own, accompanied Betty.
Attendees toured the community with the managers, including visiting a studio apartment, and one bedroom and two bedroom models. All those attending received gifts to remember their HarborPlace experience.
