Nagui Bihelek Named Executive Coach in Calgary, Canada

Bihelek’s past corporate experience also prompted him to venture into executive coaching.

Las Vegas, NV, January 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- ActionCOACH Nagui Bihelek recently added the executive coaching certification to his existing business coaching qualifications.

“Although I have a great deal of corporate experience as well as experience in using various methodologies, including TQM, Catalyst, Business Re-engineering and Six Sigma, ActionCOACH has been the most practical, simple, hands-on approach that’s enabled me to get results for my clients fairly quickly,” he said.

Bihelek’s past corporate experience also prompted him to venture into executive coaching.

“As a young consultant, 20 years ago, I worked with Fortune 100 Companies in Australia, and program managed projects from $20M to $100 M,” he said. “I was a catalyst in introducing brand new concepts and methodologies into banks, financial institutions and Postal Services – often leading through example.”

In the first 15 years of his career, working with IBM and CSC to provide products and consulting services to Fortune 500 accounts provided Bihelek with the foundation and confidence to deliver great results to his corporate coaching clients.

Bihelek believes every executive needs a coach.

“These senior executives work hard – long hours often at break neck speed, and very few can keep their focus and direction to achieve the clarity needed to achieve the results that contribute to the vision and mission of their organizations,” he said. “This is where an Executive Coach comes into the picture- to hold them accountable and keep them focused to ensure their efforts are results-oriented.”

Bihelek finds the discipline of coaching to be different from consulting.

“Coaching – unlike consulting depends on both parties participating,” he said. “There needs to be a higher degree of openness to learn and be challenged by another person’s point of view.”

Bihelek feels that by bringing the entrepreneurial mind-set to the myriad smaller groups within an organization, the operations within it can run more smoothly.

“In order for a large corporation to get the desired results, it is important that the smaller entities within it function smoothly and add to the results, instead of subtracting from them,” he said. "Having worked with small-to-medium sized businesses, we can bring that entrepreneurial expertise to these smaller groups. Then, like the conductor of an orchestra, the Executive Coach can help keep them function in harmony.”

As a firm owner, Bihelek has split up his coaching team to focus on three target areas: small, medium and large enterprises.

“I have assigned a lead coach to head the implementation of strategies in each of these three areas,” he said.

As far as marketing his executive coaching services, Bihelek has a plan that consists of alliances, networking, public speaking, meeting with key executives and accessing press and media announcements related to target clients. He will also be focusing on a select group of clients.

Bihelek sees opportunity for executive coaching in mid-large organizations in Calgary, Canada.

“Calgary has a large number of medium-to-large corporations – especially in the oil industry, with revenues between $20M to $200M,” he said.

With many accomplishments and awards under his belt, Bihelek is ready for his new role as an Executive Coach. He banked gold in the first two months of being an ActionCOACH; silver in six months’ time and reached the Emerald Coach level within 10 months. He started a firm with two coaches and achieved the highest banking level in Canada from April to August this year. In addition to this, he achieved the sixth ranking world-wide.
