Melbourne, Australia, January 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Dynamic Hearing, the leading supplier of DSP software for Bluetooth headsets, today announced the release of the VoiceSense DSP software package at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). VoiceSense is the latest enhancement to Dynamic Hearing’s broadly deployed ATLAS solutions on the CSR BlueCore5-Multimedia platform. VoiceSense strengthens Dynamic Hearing’s product range by introducing DSP which uses psycho-acoustic management of masking noise and multiple microphones to further improve the naturalness of the headset user’s voice.
When two or more microphone inputs are used, VoiceSense applies a novel blend of source separation, beamforming and noise cancellation techniques to extract the voice from the surrounding real world noise, and situations, such as windy or reverberant locations. The advantage of this technology is particularly apparent in high noise levels, where the current generation of headsets has limited performance.
