From Healthcare to Hospitality: IBA Consultants Secures Prominent Miami Projects

Today, Mark Baker, president of IBA, proudly announces the addition of two Miami contracts for the firm’s expanding hotel/resort and medical center portfolios: The Fairwind Hotel and Mt. Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Center, Greene Pavilion.

As part of the restoration of the historic Fairwind, a five-story, 70 room building located in heart of the architectural district of Miami Beach, IBA will provide services relating to the project’s glass and glazing, exterior wall, waterproofing, and roofing systems. A partial list includes architectural drawing and specification review, shop drawing/submittal review, site inspection and onsite testing.

IBA’s scope of work for Mt. Sinai’s Greene Pavilion provides consultation for the project’s exterior wall and window replacement components, including architectural drawing and specification review, shop drawing review, special inspection and testing services.

According to Baker, the firm’s expertise in these areas has grown over the years.
