Boom! Magazine’s Barbara Petty Appointed to Cary Visual Art, Inc. Board Of Directors
Triangle Magazine Publisher Joins Cary Nonprofit Board.
Raleigh, NC, June 19, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Barbara Petty, publisher of Boom! Magazine, has been appointed to the Cary Visual Art, Inc. (CVA) Board of Directors. In this position, Petty will be responsible for increasing awareness of Cary Visual Art, Inc., as well as assisting with the Art Ball and the annual membership drive. Petty is the former publisher of the Triangle’s Fifty Plus magazine, and has been an active professional in the area of publishing and communication. She has over three years of experience in publishing and over 25 years of experience in communication. She is involved in several civic organizations and is an active member of the Raleigh and Chapel Hill Chamber of Commerce.
