Avreo Signs Interworks Contract with Neshoba County General Hospital for Increased Efficiency
Charleston, SC, January 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Neshoba County General Hospital (NCGH), Philadelphia, MS is the latest hospital to select Avreo interWORKS™ Ris/Pacs system for its ability to increase efficiencies in the diagnostic imaging department.
After evaluating several RIS/PACS solutions, Avreo’s interWORKS™ was selected because of its single application solution, integration capabilities, functionality, and cost effectiveness. The contract with Neshoba County General Hospital brings the number of Avreo installations to more than 95 customers and 230 sites across the U.S.
The key decision factor behind Neshoba County General Hospital’s selection was that Avreo offered a complete, single application/single database radiology workflow solution including RIS, PACS, dictation, transcription and auto report delivery system. “The Avreo solution encompassed all the features and functionality that we were seeking,” states Kerry Smith of NCGH. “The interWORKS™ system allows our imaging department to operate more efficiently, our report turn around time has been cut in half allowing our providers to spend more time on patient care and less time shuffling papers.” Smith goes on to say, “The referring physicians are also happy.
