Adding A-PET product line to multi-million pound inventory will create the first of its kind
Reacting to the growing movement away from traditional plastic printing substrates such as Rigid PVC, Hop Industries Corporation has launched a new stocking program of A-PET sheets. Available in both printing and box grades this new inventory program will allow for immediate availability and same day shipments of crystal clear A-PET sheets.
The start-up program will initially consist of common thicknesses in the range of .010 to .018 and the common sheet size of 28” x 40” and will expand to meet the growing demand for this new environmentally friendly plastic. Real-time inventory information will be available on their website.
A-PET sheets can be used in a variety of printing processes including lithography, screen process and flexography. Typical applications include but are not limited to; clear printed inserts, shelf talkers, cards, retail folded boxes, clear box lids, clear or printed windows and die-cut parts.
A-PET will perform similarly as Rigid PVC and other thermoplastics, especially in the processes of printing, punching, creasing and gluing.
With annual sales of $45 million, Hop Industries has been supplying the plastic film and sheeting industry for thirty two years, offering Rigid PVC and Synthetic Paper utilizing their large inventory and in-house sheeting, trimming and slitting services.
