MAXAL International Announces New Strategic Sales and Marketing Alliance with Hobart Brothers, a Member of the ITW Group of Companies

Traverse City, MI, November 25, 2008 --(PR.com)-- MAXAL International, Inc. (www.maxal.com), an aluminum welding wire manufacturer, announced a strategic sales and marketing alliance with Hobart Brothers, a member of the ITW group of companies. This agreement expands MAXAL’s presence in the North American region. Hobart Brothers is a leading supplier of premium welding filler metals, including stick electrodes, solid and tubular (flux cored and metal cored) wires under the brands Hobart® , McKay® , Tri-Mark® and Corex®.

Hobart Brothers is a well established regional filler metal supplier with new plans of meeting the needs of its clientele in the aluminum manufacturing arena with ‘Smootharc’. MAXAL relies on its management team which has over 200+ years of combined experience in the international aluminum weld wire manufacturing and welding industries. These experiences have been combined to provide for a new 40,000 sq ft manufacturing facility located Traverse City, MI.
