Stray Rescue of St. Louis Launches New Website Aimed at Placing Rescued Animals in Loving Homes
St. Louis, MO, January 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Stray Rescue of St. Louis has launched a new website (http://www.strayrescue.org) in partnership with Walmedia (http://www.walmedia.com), a local web design company in St. Louis, MO. The new website instantly catapults Stray Rescue's web presence into the upper echelon of animal rescue and non-profit organization websites with the ability to browse dogs and cats available for adoption, sort based on name, breed or gender, and submit an online application for the pet they are interested in adopting. In addition, the website now allows Stray Rescue staff and volunteers to easily add and modify data, which was only possible before with the help of a web designer.
Stray Rescue's new website was designed by interaction designer Parth Bhawalkar and web designer and developer Chris Wallace of Walmedia using a user-centered design process to ensure the website is easy to use for both staff and visitors. Development Director Kelly Brinkman of Stray Rescue of St. Louis led the redesign effort by defining requirements for the new website and was instrumental in making the redesign a huge success.
