Revere, Inc. Releases Latest Version of IMMPOWER SP for Shutdown/Turnaround Planning and Management
Birmingham, AL, January 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Revere, Inc. today announced the immediate availability of IMMPOWER SP 5.1 (SP 5.1), a new version of its flagship shutdown/turnaround planning and management software. IMMPOWER SP is an integral part of the comprehensive Revere solutions suite for asset management operations.
New features and functionality in SP 5.1 include:
-- Database and client support enhancements: Fully compatible with Oracle® 11g and Microsoft® Windows® Vista, as well as earlier versions of Oracle and Microsoft Windows.
-- Additional user code fields: Includes 12 additional user code fields (eighteen total), now with optional validation.
-- Multiple calendars: Each phase of a shutdown can have its own calendar and schedule within the same scenario.
-- Microsoft® Excel® support: Allows users to update and download data with Microsoft Excel.
-- Transaction auditing: Use auditing to track the users whom have made changes to estimates as well as the changes in hours.
-- Tools and materials lists: Maintain tools and materials lists with rates and quantities for enhanced cost functionality.
-- Additional cost fields: Eighteen cost fields are now available for resources, tools, and materials.
-- Work order validation: Optional validation of work order numbers.
-- Enhanced Gantt chart: More fields and description are available for SP Gantt chart.
-- Multiple scenario deletion: Use one form to delete multiple shutdown scenarios.
-- Resource availability: Enhancements to resource availability functionality.
-- Default codes: Allows users to have codes default from resources instead of job steps.
-- Critical jobs: Allows users to have the shift schedule display highlight the critical jobs.
