About the Book (Excerpts & Info)
Sofia, author of The Third Age, divides life into three periods. While the first two stages focus on education, development, and our career paths, it is the Third Age—post retirement—that is the most fun. This is what Sofia calls “The Enjoyment Years.” In The Third Age, Sofia urges us to forget about the aches, pains, anxiety, and depression that all-too-often come with aging and to get out and enjoy life. With thoughtful tips, encouraging words, and laugh-out-loud stories of inspiration, she’ll have you leaping off the couch, ready to face the world. “You have your life,” she says, “you made it what it is, go ahead, now make it your enjoyment, you deserve it. You have a right to it!” Read The Third Age and learn to enjoy life!
Deftly constructed at 77 pages, The Third Age: Is 65 supposed to be the Breach? is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the Special Interest - Senior category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, The Third Age meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $18.95.

About the Author
About the Author: Sofia, a pen name chosen in honor of the great Goddess of Wisdom, was an active world traveler, working as an economic development consultant, when it all ground to a halt after a stroke in 2003. Depression soon set in because she could no longer work at the career she loved. Eventually, she was able to overcome her difficulties and re-embrace life by choosing to focus on the positive aspects of growing old. This led to a second career—helping other stroke survivors who, like herself, need to get back on track with their lives! Sofia is the co-founder of Circle of Rights, Inc., which helps those who are not yet able to help themselves, reminding them that life is a celebration and that we should sing and dance and taste the sweet fruits it has to offer.
