Skateboarding Legend Mike Vallely Makes Big Screen Debut in Paul Blart: Mall Cop
Mike Vallely (AKA Mike V) is a cultural icon. He is a professional skateboarder, musician, TV personality, stuntman and actor. He is a hero and a legend to fans young and old alike all over the world. Paul Blart: Mall Cop marks his big screen debut.
Long Beach, CA, January 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- On January 16th Paul Blart: Mall Cop made its way into theaters across the nation putting Mike Vallely before an audience that may not be familiar with the skateboarding legend. Although he has been highly visible working with the Anaheim Ducks NHL team doing blogs, skits and guest commentating for their home games, it is this film that will really put him before a mainstream audience.
In the film Vallely plays Rudolph, the baddest of the bad guys. When all else fails their leader Veck, played by Keir O'Donnell, sends him out into the mall to put an end to the mall cop situation. In a recent interview with Soak Magazine, Valley had the following to say about working with Kevin James: "he was always accessible, always open to ideas and opinions, and he always treated the cast and crew and the very real shoppers in the mall that we filmed in great. I don't think anyone could walk away from working with Kevin with anything bad to say. Hanging with him made me an even bigger fan then I already was."
In addition to his performance in Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Vallely can also be seen performing with his music group, Revolution Mother on January 31, 2009 at Sidebar in Fullerton CA and on February 6, 2009 at The Glasshouse in Pomona CA.
