The new year brings a new calendar of events, including art classes in the gallery. A monthly girls night out, where ladies are pampered in the gallery. Or ask about the comedy line up soon to be a favorite stop for all to unwind. The Russell Gallery is located inside the Historic Russell Industrial Center: a seven inter connected complex designed by Albert Kahn and finished in 1925 on a 25 acre site near I-75 and I-94. Dennis Kefellinos purchased the center in 2003 to create a community for small companies in creative industries. the Russell Bazaar is based on street markets found all over the world, except the Russell Bazaar is located under one roof. It provides a terrific experience for shoppers and gives local artists, craftspeople and other types of small businesses a low cost "storefront" in a lively environment. It generates excitement, jobs and economic opportunity at the same time.
