With 1.8 million fans, more than 700 miles of cycling terrain, 8 teams with amazing credentials, the 2009 Tour of California will prove to cycling fans everywhere that cycling is moving forward, like wheels in motion.”
The Tour of California starts on February 14th, 2009 in Sacramento, California which happens to be the State capitol. The course on the first day is a time trial for a total of 2.4 miles.
