Candice Crawford, Scott Reister Join Midwest Sports Fans as Featured Authors

Midwest Sports Fans has announced that Candice Crawford and Scott Reister have joined its writing staff as featured authors. Crawford and Reister, both experienced TV sports reporters, are joining the sports blogosphere to write regular weekly columns.

Dallas, TX, January 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Midwest Sports Fans, one of the fastest-growing sports blogs on the Internet, has announced the addition of two experienced sports reporters to its writing staff. Candice Crawford and Scott Reister joined Midwest Sports Fans in January of 2009 to contribute a regular weekly column.

Candice Crawford is a journalism major at the University of Missouri and a reporter for KOMU-TV in Columbia, MO. She has also worked as an intern for the Dallas Cowboys, hosted “The Blitz” on the CBS affiliate in Dallas, and was crowned Miss Missouri 2008. Ms. Crawford’s weekly column is entitled “From the Sideline”, and her first two articles have broken down the hiring of Scott Pioli as GM by the Kansas City Chiefs and the immediate decisions Pioli faces.

Scott Reister is the sports director at KNDU-TV, an NBC affiliate in Washington. Mr. Reister is an experienced sideline reporter and a 2007 Society of Professional Journalists Award Winner. His weekly column is entitled “The Anchor’s Desk”, and his first article detailed the University of Texas Longhorn’s domination of collegiate merchandising nationwide.
