Ingenious Inc. Bags Largest FCC Training Simulator Project from Reliance Industries

Houston, TX, January 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Ingenious Inc. has been awarded the world’s largest Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) training simulator project that would involve a comprehensive series of models and e-learning solutions. Products involved include ProDyn, software offered by Ingenious Inc. and UniSim technology in partnership with Honeywell International. This is possibly the first project of its kind at such a large scale involving training on plant operations- startup, and shut down. This project would form part of a world class training center being set up by Reliance. ProDyn is a powerful dynamic operator training simulator tool. A user-friendly interface allows the user the capability to train, learn and test the various dynamic operations of a process model. These tools are Web Enabled and hence allow direct connection with DCS systems, SCADA/HMI interfaces, reactor algorithms and other third party packages.

UniSim® solution software offers a series of unified simulation solutions to support improved performance throughout the lifecycle of a plant—from off-line use in steady-state design simulation, control check-out, and operator training, to online use in control and optimization, performance monitoring, and business planning.
