Financial Services Expert Brings International Experience to ActionCOACH

Las Vegas, NV, January 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Master Licensee Nick Dove has named Lionel Baugh as an ActionCOACH in South Florida.
He will be operating from his home-office in the Brickell area of Miami. He plans on moving into an office by mid-year.
When approached by a head hunter, Baugh was already considering coaching as a career move. As soon as the ActionCOACH opportunity came his way, he was instantly sold on the idea.
Prior to becoming an ActionCOACH, Baugh was in the financial services sector for 30 years and ran offices in New York, Lima (Peru), Manila (Philippines), Hong Kong, Oslo (Norway), and Miami. He also worked in banking, capital markets, and wealth management for firms like Manufacturers Hanover Trust, Chemical Bank, Charles Schwab, and Merrill Lynch.
Baugh made many strides in international markets during the course of his previous career.
He perfected a new business model within Schwab and achieved record growth in the company’s Latin America Division. He also restructured the sales process in Merrill Lynch's Latin America Division, and improved financial advisor productivity, net new money, client acquisition, and average revenue per client.
Baugh started a successful broker-dealer and registered investment advisory firm. He was also instrumental in restructuring a Hong Kong banking business, restoring it to profitability, and achieving a 16% Return on Investment (ROI). He played a key role in the restructuring of Philippines' foreign debt in 1983. Baugh also re-engineered businesses at Scotia Bank and Royal Bank of Canada restoring them to profitability.
“I also created an emerging markets Eurobond trading and distribution team reaching the top of the under-writing and sales league tables,” he said. “I have a strategic mind-set, with a focus on measurable results.”
Baugh feels that having made many mistakes, he has developed a sense of humor, and now understands the importance and seriousness of having fun, as well as the instincts about what works and what doesn't.
“I am a natural leader and mentor. I like to practice 'Listen, Learn, Help, and Lead'. I also understand that you need to earn people's trust to work with them.”
Baugh is very impressed by ActionCOACH.
