FetchBack First ReTargeting Specialist to Join NAI
Tempe, AZ, January 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- FetchBack Inc., the only online advertising company to specialize in retargeting, today announced that it has joined the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) a coalition of the online advertising companies that have established standards for protecting Web consumer’s online privacy with respect to adverting practices. FetchBack has agreed to abide by the NAI’s high standards for data protection, transparency and consumer choice.
As the first specialized retargeting company to become a member of NAI, FetchBack will also work with other NAI members to develop and implement guidelines specific to retargeting that will clarify how the NAI Principles apply to retargeting practices. Retargeting works in tandem with, and optimizes, paid search and other forms of Web marketing. Web users that have visited a website in the past are easier to convert into customers because they have already expressed interest in what that website has to offer. Therefore, if they later view a retargeted display ad for that company as they are surfing the Web, they'll likely return as buyers.
“FetchBack is committed to consumer privacy, making sure they know how data collected about them is used for online advertising. NAI is leading self-regulating body in our industry so that consumers can feel confident that NAI-member data collected about them is used in a safe, appropriate manner,” says Chad Little, Chief Retriever of FetchBack. “FetchBack believes that full transparency into advertising practices is crucial for our industry and we look forward to working with NAI in the future as active members.”
“We are pleased to have Fetchback join us as a member of the NAI,” says Assistant Director Jim Campbell. “We look forward to working with them on our retargeting implementation guideline and to enlisting their help to recruit other retargeting companies to participate in our compliance program going forward.”
The Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) (www.networkadvertising.org) is a cooperative of online marketing companies committed to building consumer awareness and establishing responsible business and data management practices and standards. As increasingly sophisticated online advertising technologies evolve, consumer concerns about their impact on online privacy mount. The NAI meets these concerns with both effective industry self-regulation and sensible protections for online consumers.
FetchBack (www.FetchBack.com) is the leading Retargeting Company online. Founded in 2007, FetchBack has established itself as a leader in innovation, effectiveness, and customer service. Its patent-pending technology, known as FIDO, eases implementation, increases reach and provides clients with in-depth analytics on their campaign performance. For advertisers Fetchback is able to double and sometimes even quadruple both the existing rate of return visits but also their conversion rate.
