Wendell Davis to Speak at the Chamber’s State of the County Luncheon
Wendell Davis, Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners will be the keynote speaker at the Clay County Chamber of Commerce’s State of the County Luncheon. The luncheon will be held on Thursday, January 29 at The Hilltop Club, located at 2030 Wells Road in Orange Park.
Orange Park, FL, January 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Wendell Davis, Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, will be the keynote speaker at the Clay County Chamber of Commerce’s 3rd Annual State of the County Luncheon, presented by Orange Park Medical Center. The event will be held on Thursday, January 29, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Hilltop Club, located at 2030 Wells Road in Orange Park.
“This year’s State of the County Luncheon is a must for individuals interested in hearing what the goals are for this year along with the accomplishments from last year,” said Tim McLane, John Hancock Life Insurance Co. and Chair of the Government Affairs Committee. “As we move into a time with newly elected officials and those who will continue to serve, it is critical that we all have a sense of what is happening.” The Mayors of Green Cove Springs, Keystone Heights, Orange Park and Penney Farms will also address the audience. “They will talk about upcoming challenges and improvements we can make to enhance both the business environment and the lifestyles we all seek to enjoy that make Clay County such a great place.”
There are several ways businesses and individuals can participate in the event. Sponsorships opportunities are available for the event.
