Bloomington, IN, January 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- New Novel Incorporates Advanced Science, Romance as it Follows Young Technician through Galaxies and Time Periods.
In a new science fiction novel by Aerospace Engineer and author Theodore R. Eastman, he gives readers both a taste of the real possibilities of the future and the timeless theme of love. Forever Pleasure: A Utopian Novel is told though the eyes of a 23-year-old who finds himself traveling through time and meeting creative characters that challenge him throughout the story.
It’s the year 5006 when Jeso arrives at a planet in the Virgo Supercluster galaxies with the mission of converting the inhabitants to pleasure machines. While there, he is persuaded to take up the cause of rebellion and fight for an ancient accord of the Local Group of galaxies. The scene then moves to the novel’s hero, John Seeger, who is working on a high-tech experiment in 1986 that could make viewing past or future events a reality. A slip-up propels him to the year 2076, where he meets his first love interest of the book, Mahea.
After being subjected to a frightening infusion of microbots, John flees. While trying to reach home, he’s transported accidentally to the year 5009. Jenay, a silver-haired, perfectly engineered teenager befriends him and teaches John of the advances in science and society. Her artificial make up is something John rejects; he has been on a quest to find a truly natural woman. Conflict arises when he meets Sol, a wholesome beauty whose memories have been locked away due to an accident. Romantic tension develops, and John finds himself deciding between the transhuman Jenay and Sol, who has a slew of secrets, some of which shine light on the uprising undertaken by the book’s opening character, Jeso.
An inspired work, Forever Pleasure: A Utopian Novel, is a smart, creatively conceived story that weaves advanced science with romance and friendship. Readers take a wild journey through time and experience a classic story of both love and one man’s search for what that means to him.
