Health & Safety Institute is Growing with Addition of 24-7 EMS
Health & Safety Institute (HSI), comprised of American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) and MEDIC FIRST AID International, is pleased to announce the addition of 24-7 EMS to its family of brands.
Eugene, OR, January 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- 24-7 EMS develops classroom and online training programs that are used by more than 70,000 Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel each month to meet ongoing state and national training requirements. The addition of 24-7 EMS to the HSI family of brands supports the training lifecycle available from HSI for the professional responder - from initial basic life support certification to continuing education.
24-7 EMS is excited to offer HSI’s preferred training resources to its customers,” said Marit Saltrones, Director of 24-7 EMS. “We are honored to join a family of brands that is so highly respected in the EMS and emergency cardiac care communities.”
HSI focuses on developing and offering first aid, CPR, AED, and other emergency care training programs for use by entrepreneurial and corporate training centers and instructors. HSI training programs are used primarily to meet regulatory requirements for workplace safety and for educating the general community in first aid care.
“The addition of 24-7 EMS to our family of brands will provide an immediate resource to the large percentage of our Instructor base who are EMS personnel,” said Bill Clendenen, CEO for Health & Safety Institute. “For those 24-7 EMS customers who do not currently use ASHI or Medic First Aid training programs, this partnership will provide tremendous resources.”
