Triple Knot Productions Forms Partnership with Wheelchair Sports and Recreation Association
Triple Knot Productions, a non-profit video production in Florida partnered with Wheelchair Sports and Recreation Association of Boston. Together, they have formed, Achieve Through Motivation.
Seffner, FL, January 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Triple Knot Productions, a non-profit video production located in Tampa, Florida partnered with Wheelchair Sports and Recreation Association of Boston. Together, they have formed, Achieve Through Motivation, a DBA under WSRA.
Founders of both companies, Charles Ekizian (WSRA) and Brian K Dery (Triple Knot Productions), both victims to a Spinal Cord Injury look forward to the venture.
They hope that by creating Achieve Through Motivation they can help the disabled find motivation and inspiration in their own lives to live life to the fullest.
Brian K Dery, 34 years old resides in Tampa, Florida. Shortly after being discharged from the U.S. Navy, Dery had suffered from Guillain-Barre Syndrome and was paralyzed for almost 6 months. Dery was told that he would never recover and would be paralyzed for life. To the amazement of his doctors, he soon recovered. Years later Dery was introduced to a young woman by the name of Jen French. He documented her life and experience with a spinal cord injury. After the success of his first film, "To Have Courage" Dery had formed Triple Knot Productions. To date, Dery has met a lot of disabled individuals, young and old. He has in one way or another walked in their shoes. He gives back by telling their story and hoping that it will help others in same or similar situations.
Charles Ekizian, 61 resides in Destin, Florida. In 1968 Ekizian broke his neck in a diving accident. At that moment in time Ekizian felt his life was over and no longer wanted to live. During his recovery process, Ekizian had surprised the doctors and therapists at his remarkable achievements. In 1989 Ekizian had formed Wheelchair Sports and Recreation Association. By forming WSRA Ekizian would met others with disabilities and he wold help them get reintroduced to life through adaptive sports.
