Triple Knot Productions Begins Production on Autism Documentary
Triple Knot Productions, an award winning production company has started production on it's latest educational and motivational film. The topic will be on two families who deal with Autistic children.
Seffner, FL, January 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Triple Knot Productions is pleased to announce its first production for 2009.
“In The Shadow of Autism ” - Award winning director, Brian K. Dery, will focus on two families affected by this disorder and how they cope.
Autism (sometimes called “classical autism”) is the most common condition in a group of developmental disorders known as the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs). Autism is characterized by impaired social interaction, problems with verbal and nonverbal communication, and unusual, repetitive, or severely limited activities and interests. Experts estimate that as many as six out every 1,000 children will be diagnosed with autism. Males are four times more likely to have autism than females.
Production is expected to begin by the end of January, with a release date in mid-spring. They plan to schedule many events to support this film in the upcoming months; please stay tuned to find out more.
Please keep in mind, that April is Autism Awareness Month and this film will make a great tool for educational purposes during that time.
