Image@Work Club Debuts Training Series for Career Centers
Kansas City, MO, January 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Image@Work Club announces the first session in the Career Center Hot Topics teleseminar series: "Job Hunt Reality Check."
On January 27, Image@Work Club founder Marlys Arnold will interview guest expert Karen Stafford, founder of theHRgeek.com in Phoenix. They will be discussing the reality of job hunting for this year's graduates in a climate of heightened competition and overbearing helicopter parents. University career center professionals will learn tips to share with students on guerrilla job hunting and going beyond just being "qualified" for a job.
While there is no cost to join the call at 2 PM CST on January 27 (other than applicable long-distance charges), there are a limited number of lines available. For career center professionals who can't make the live call, there will also be a recording available for purchase afterwards.
Future topics for the Hot Topics series include diversity, recruiting 2.0, and online etiquette. Career centers are also invited to submit their own Hot Topic. To request call-in details, school representatives are invited to visit http://www.imageatworkclub.com/HotTopics and fill out a short request form.
