IDGC of Centre: Constructive Conversation with Executive Authorities

Moscow, Russia, January 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- On 20 January 2009, a working meeting of the Deputy Governor of the Tver region Vasily Toloko, the First Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre Sergey Arhipov, the Director for Regional Development Alexander Eist and the Deputy General Director - Director of Tverenergo branch of IDGC of Centre Sergey Yolkin took place.

The meeting concerned the issues of technological connection of new consumers to Tvernenergo grids, development of infrastructure of the Tver region as a whole, performance of the investment program of Tvernenergo branch under the RAB method (regulatory asset base).

The parties agreed on joint actions on creation of favorable investment conditions in the Tver region regarding technological connection of consumers to power installations of the companies, on possible budget participation of authorities in creation of the developed infrastructure. The meeting also discussed the risks caused by the world financial and economic crisis regarding realization of the investment program which is stipulated under the RAB method for 2009, and the issues of their minimization.
