Bands and Fans Battle Human Trafficking at The Crux
The Crux, a concert Venue in Washington, MO, is hosting “Fight For Freedom,” a battle of the bands, to raise money and awareness for the fight against human trafficking.
Washington, MO, January 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Fight for Freedom will be held at The Crux on February 7th, Noon-10pm. Tickets for the event are $10 and are available by calling The Crux at 636-221-2957. Fifteen local bands will compete to win: 1st place – enclosed trailer, 2nd place – PA System.
“A lot of today’s music is full of anger, through Fight For Freedom, The Crux is inviting local bands and fans to direct that anger towards human trafficking. While the bands are competing against each other, the real fight is against human trafficking.” says Matt Clayton, director of The Crux.
Proceeds from Fight For Freedom will benefit the work World Hope International is doing to end human trafficking around the world.
