BD of IDGC of Centre Approved General Director's Report on Investment Program Performance

Moscow, Russia, January 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The target parameters following the results of the work for nine months were exceeded in compliance with all parameters.

According to the investment program of IDGC of Centre which was approved by the Company Board of Directors as of 10 September 2008, the company planned for nine months of 2008: to spend RUR 3 billion 540 thousand for capital expenditure; to spend RUR 2 billion 596 thousand for putting into service the fixed capital. The plan also included putting into service of 923.03 km of transmission lines, and 82.25 MVA of the transformer capacities.

Actual overfulfilment of the specified parameters for nine months of 2008: RUR 1 billion 212 thousand were assigned for the capital investments with exceeding the plan (134% of the plan); the fixed capital was put in operation by RUR 459 thousand more than it was planned (118% of the plan). The actual length of the connected lines exceeded the plan by 475.2 km (151% of the plan); the transformer capacity was connected by193.610 MVA more (335% of the plan).

During realization of the company investment program in the third quarter of 2008, the works were completed at the following objects of capital construction: Raduzhnaya 110/35/10 kV substation in Tverenergo branch (replacement of the 40 MVA power transformer) and 110/6 kV No.9 Substation in Voronezhenergo branch (replacement of the 16 MVA transformer by the 25 MVA transformer).

For the third quarter, more than 250 km of 0.4-10 kV power lines were reconstructed and more than 280 km of 0.4-10 kV power lines were constructed. Due to purchase of electric networks, the Company power lines' length increased by more than 200 km.

Successful realization of the company investment program is a guarantee of reliable and trouble-free operation of the IDGC of Centre's grid complex.
