NetPLUS Concepts Forms SREC Alliance
Company Negotiates Brokerage Agreement with Sol Systems.
Norcross, GA, January 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- NetPLUS Concepts is pleased to announce the selection of Sol Systems of Washington, DC as their resource for the aggregation and brokering of Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SRECs) for their client base. (A number of states require that a certain percentage of the electricity supplied to its citizens be produced from renewable energy resources. To meet these requirements utilities and/or energy suppliers can either produce this electricity from their own facilities, purchase credits from other renewable energy facilities, or pay an alternative compliance penalty).
According to NetPLUS Co-Founder Ken DiPietro, “Sol Systems' vision and leadership have helped shape the business of brokering SRECs for alternative energy producers, thus facilitating the deployment of this necessary technology.”
Co-Founder Ted Hatfield elaborates, “A natural symbiotic relationship exists between NetPLUS Concepts and Sol Systems. The sale of SRECs reduces the purchase cost of our structures and also reduces the ongoing cost of ownership.”
NetPLUS Concepts has combined proven technologies with an innovative business model designed to facilitate the achievement of individual-structure energy independence in the United States, and even the production of surplus electricity for sale to the utility grid. Attractive designs, modern amenities, enhanced levels of structural integrity and prices competitive with those of conventional structures are all central components of “The NetPLUS Concept.”
