'Social Studies' Begins Feature Film Development

Austin, TX, January 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Between them they have a band, an eating disorder and a film loosely based on themselves. They are Frank Weysos and Charles Hernandez, life long friends and working class artists, with giant visions and giant waistlines. Musicians in the joyous four-piece rock band The Hawks (Of Holy Rosary), as well as video and film directors, actors and day job holders, Frank and Charles are currently developing a feature film based on their short film 'Social Studies' It is a highly fictionalized introspective of their fat and funny friendship. Fans of Wes Anderson will appreciate the films aesthetic that features music from Dr Dog and other Park The Van Records recording artists. Notably Frank and Charles along with Darren Scharf of Well Rounded Films have produced three music videos for Park The Van artists and are also currently developing music video content for artists Hacienda and The Peekers.
