RTI Names Real-Time Industry Veteran Curt Schacker as Vice President of Professional Services
Former Wind River Executive Brings Over 20 Years of Proven Software Engineering, Worldwide Sales and Professional Services Experience.
Sunnyvale, CA, January 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Real-Time Innovations (RTI), The Real-Time Middleware Experts, today announced the appointment of former Wind River Systems executive Curt Schacker as vice president of Professional Services. Strong, growing demand for a new generation of high-performance messaging and real-time application integration solutions fueled the company's ability to attract top talent like Schacker.
In his new role, Schacker will focus on increasing the value of RTI’s customer relationships by driving product design wins in the aerospace, defense and financial services markets; expanding RTI’s intellectual property (IP) portfolio and domain expertise; and leveraging his technical and professional services experience to translate customer and partner challenges into product requirements that advance RTI’s solutions.

Schacker brings more than 20 years of proven software engineering, worldwide sales, marketing and business development experience to RTI. Schacker began his career at Lockheed Martin developing flight software for the NASA Hubble Space Telescope. He then served as a field applications engineer at real-time operating system pioneers Ready Systems and Wind River Systems. At Wind River, he rose to the position of VP of Worldwide Marketing and Corporate Development. In 2001, Schacker co-founded Embedded Solution Partners, which was named Silicon Valley’s 20th fastest growing company in 2006. Most recently, he managed all aspects of business operations for Toroki Communications.
