Goldmund Considerably Reinforces Its Media Room Offer
Geneva, Switzerland, January 31, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Since its release in July 2007, the Goldmund Media Room has generated a lot of attention in the luxury Home-Theater market. During the last 2 years, several Media Rooms have been built and more are currently under construction around the world. Two generations of Goldmund components have already been developed.
To catch up with this very fast development, Goldmund announced on January 1st 2009 its 3rd generation of Media Room components and a substantial reinforcement of its worldwide Media Room support organization.
The new 3rd Generation U-Telos amplifier now has a fully automated installation software. It is capable of announcing by e-mail any difficulty it might be encountering (entry in safety mode, failure, overload, etc…) to make the system’s maintenance easier. The software linking all amplifiers together automatically detects any defective amp, and informs the designated remote service center. In addition, thanks to the high number of channels in a Goldmund Media Room, the failure of a single power amplifier is completely undetectable by the user.
The 3rd Generation U-Logos speakers have also been redesigned to be aluminum-cast in a new shape that considerably improves its “Mechanical Grounding” capability and its ease of assembly in the modular “Goldmund Frame” construction. The casting, made possible by the larger quantity of speakers manufactured, results in the production of a less expensive Goldmund Media Room without any sacrifice on its extraordinary performance.
Thrilled by the success encountered by the Media Room, and aware of the extreme complexity level of some of the present and future installations, Goldmund also introduced on January 1st a much stronger support team. This new team based in Geneva, Switzerland, gathers engineers from the research team and field installation experts under the responsibility of Dr. Veronique Adam (PhD in acoustics) who has been the master behind the Goldmund Media Room technology since 2000.
The new team’s highest level of competence will guarantee the optimal performance of each Media Room and excellent technical support to distributors and dealers.
Since most Media Rooms are now installed by a local reseller or installer, the new team will also be in charge of their training.
