Pinnacle Contracting Completes Renovation for Alter Trading Corporation

St. Louis, MO, January 31, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The renovation, which was begun in April 2008, required a complete interior rehab and an exterior facelift with tuck pointing and waterproofing. Both the private offices around the perimeter and many conference rooms feature Borrow Lites to disperse natural daylight throughout the space. All the windows are new with larger openings to allow for more daylight, making the building more energy-efficient. Keeping with the design motif, composite metal panels also decorate each entry and the new monument sign.

For the project, Pinnacle Contracting removed all interior partitions from both floors and filled in a large atrium to provide more useable square footage. In addition, the second floor was reinforced with structural steel and helical anchors were added to the foundation for new heavy-duty filing areas on the second floor.

The updated facility includes a back-up generator for the all systems within the building. This is crucial for the server room, which provides multiple data back-up systems for the corporation’s entire network of facilities across the country.
