.vantronix joins the HP ProCurve Open Network Ecosystem with the integrated Firewall ZL1 solution.

The Firewall ZL1 product is based on the .vantronix Firewall Operating System, running on the new HP ProCurve ONE Services zl Module. It is designed to meet the criteria of sophisticated enterprise environments and offers not only performance, but also reliable security, scalability, high-availability, redundancy with professional on-time support. The .vantronix product is based on the OpenBSD operating system and features powerful services like Firewalling, Load Balancing, VPN, IPv6 Gateway, and Anti-SPAM applications. Full support for the next generation Internet Protocol IPv6, including proactive firewalling, a powerful secure platform, and interaction with the HP ProCurve Switch 5400zl series - the 5406/5412/8212zl switch chassis as an integrated module are the outstanding features of the product.
