Ambassadors for Peace Leads Processional Walk-a-Long for the Trail of Dreams World Peace Walkers
Philadelphia, PA, February 01, 2009 --(PR.com)-- On Feb 4, 2009, from 10:00 am- 11:30pm the Trail of Dreams Walk-a-long, an international outreach program of the Spirit of Truth Foundation, will come to Philadelphia.
The Walk Starts at Front and Spruce, at the Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial ending at the Philadelphia Museum of Art by way of: Independence Hall, The National Constitution Center, The African American Museum where they will be stopping to do a Ancestral Ceremonial Prayer which will include a special recognition of the Family members of Mothers in Charge: Voices of Courage, who have lost a relative through violent circumstances. The walk will continue on to City Hall, Love Park, and finally end at Ben Franklin Parkway, Avenue of the Flags of All Nations.
Immediately following the walk at 12 noon there will be a Inter-Faith Service and Concert at the First Unitarian Church 2125 Chestnut Street Philadelphia, PA. Keynote Speaker for the event is Rev. Angela Lundy, of Interfaith Specialty Services Inc., a faith-based community outreach program uniquely serving the disabled by assisting churches, theological seminaries and organizations in the "how‑to's" of nurturing those of us with disabilities. Rev.Lundy will be speaking on how all faith s and religions can come to peace through understanding and embracing our differences.
