SAE Institute Launches Online Filmmaking Series: On The Set
"On The Set," SAE Institute's public series of panel discussions on filmmaking by industry professions begins in at the Los Angeles campus February 7th, 12pm PST.
San Francisco, CA, February 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- SAE Institute in Los Angeles is proud to announce the first broadcast of SAE Institute's new "On The Set" series: a panel discussion with members of the film industry geared towards giving insight into the ever evolving world of film and television. The panels will feature faculty members from SAE Institute Film programs, as well as producers, directors, sound designers, screenwriters, mixers, and cinematographers who are currently shaping the field of entertainment today.
The first seminar takes place Saturday, Feb. 7th from 12pm-2pm PST: "How to Make it in the Film Business Without Even Trying".
Members of the Film faculty give their insight and share their journey of navigating the busy waters of film and television today. Teaching staff has been tightly woven into the entertainment industry in Hollywood for decades with credits including "Titan A.E", C.L.E.O. Awards nominations, MTV2 Awards Nominations, Films that have gone to Cannes, etc. It's a great chance to learn and grow from those who are interested in shaping the next generation of filmmakers.
The February 7th panel will be webcast and open to the public. The seminar can be viewed live either by visiting the SAE-USA website or by viewing the SAE LIVE! channel on ustream.tv. It will also be recorded and posted for anyone who wants to view it at a later date and get insight into navigating the film industry.
