Greater Cincinnati Energy Summit Brings Together Locally and Nationally Recognized Energy Experts to Discuss 09’ Trends
Experts from Today’s Facility Manager, Duke Energy Discuss Energy Trends, Incentives
Cincinnati, OH, February 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Recognized experts in the areas of energy efficiency, lighting upgrades and government incentive programs gathered at the Banker’s Club on Tuesday for the 2009 Greater Cincinnati Energy Summit.
The event, sponsored by Northern Kentucky Electric Service, featured panelists from Leesman Lighting, Duke Energy, Kentner Sellers and Today’s Facility Manager Magazine. Discussions included Duke Energy incentive programs, LEED and EPAct programs, energy efficient lighting upgrades and best practice advice for implementing rebate and credit programs.
“Northern Kentucky Electric Service is committed to helping area businesses save money through energy efficiency,” NKES president Mike Wissman said. “We organized the Greater Cincinnati Energy Summit to raise awareness of the many ways facilities can take advantage of incentive programs and available upgrades without spending a ton of money.”
All of those in attendance at the Greater Cincinnati Energy Summit indicated an interest in making their facilities more energy efficient in 2009 in a post-event survey.
