NPSA Releases Preliminary Results of Industry Study
Industry-wide survey determines size and strength of portable storage industry.
Kansas City, MO, February 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The National Portable Storage Association has released the preliminary results of its 2008-2009 Research Study.
The survey determines the number and types of vendors, equipment and jobs in the portable storage industry, as well as estimate the total revenue generated by portable storage and ancillary product and service companies.
"We want to thank everyone that participated in the NPSA's 2008 Industry Survey," said John Finnessy, CMP, Executive Director of the NPSA, a nonprofit membership association dedicated to the advancement of the portable storage industry. "We offered a presentation at our Annual Conference on the preliminary results. The Executive Summary is now complete and the full survey will soon be available for release."
The Executive Summary is complimentary for participating companies. NPSA member companies that did not participate can order a copy of the Executive Summary for $99. Non-members can obtain a copy of the Executive Summary for $199. The Executive Summary is complimentary for those who purchase the full survey. The full survey costs $299 for participating members, $499 for non-participating members, $599 for participating non-members and $699 for non-participating non-members.
This is the third time the NPSA has sought to assess and measure the industry. The NPSA conducted surveys in 2006 and in 2004. However, the 2008 survey marks the largest scale appraisal in the industry's history. The survey's aim is to begin gathering data that will allow the NPSA to identify industry trends. The NPSA can use this data as a benchmark to measure the growth of the industry since the last surveys, as well as project future growth.
