Litéra Corp. Launches Broadcast1Source, a Robust Online Portal for EEO and FCC Compliance for U.S. Broadcasters
Litéra Corp. releases Broadcast1Source, a new EEO and FCC compliance, online portal with ePIF management capability for radio and television broadcasters’ nationwide.
McLeansville, NC, February 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Litéra® Corp. announced today the release of its newest EEO and FCC compliance portal for radio and television broadcasters. Broadcast1Source® (www.broadcast1source.com), Litéra’s second-generation portal for broadcaster compliance with EEO regulations, FCC compliance and ePIF management, replaces EEO1Source and gives U.S. broadcasters the tools they need to simplify the process of complying with the FCC’s EEO rules, while using less staff time.
This web-based portal manages the full cycle of recruiting: including interviews, hiring and source of hire information, along with automatic job notifications to selected agencies, monitors and alerts on other outreach efforts requirements. In addition, Broadcast1Source automatically creates required EEO reports, provides clients with self audit tools and compliance alerts and creates their electronic Public Inspection Files in minutes both in print form and as a posting on a branded web page. Users of the portal can now fulfill EEO requirements in a fraction of the time it used to take.
“EEO1Source had become the number one compliance portal for Broadcasters,” said Deepak Massand, founder and C.E.O. of Litéra Corp. “Our goal with this new portal is to make it even easier to document compliance. By making the portal more intelligent, we are able to provide an alert system that monitors all the required reports and deadlines.”
Broadcast1Source replaces the existing EEO1Source.com (www.eeo1source.com) solution, developed by Litéra for many of the nation’s leading broadcasters’ associations. Existing customers of EEO1Source have been automatically upgraded to the new online portal to access a series of new and more robust capabilities, such as custom recruiting agency lists, blind job posting and alerts. They will also have an option to subscribe to new services, including ePIF.
“Ramar Communications actively uses Broadcast1Source to manage all of our EEO and FCC compliance measures,” said Traci Thorne at Ramar Communications. “We participated in the beta version of this powerful broadcaster technology portal, including ePIF, and can say with full confidence that it has helped us greatly in making sure we stay fully compliant with the FCC’s guidelines. We manage all our jobs, from submitting them to recruitment agencies to filling out our interview sheets, with Broadcast1Source and creating EEO reports takes just seconds. We highly recommend all broadcasters look closely at this great time-saving online portal.”
“NRG Media is an active user of EEO1Source and we’re looking forward to all the new features of Broadcast1Source.” said Aleta VanNatta, business manager for NRG Media, a broadcasting group with 80 stations using the portal. “EEO1Source helped us in recruiting new employees, but more than that, it has made sure that our EEO Public Files are accurate, always up to date and easy to create. When it comes time to update our reports, we just login and, in just a few moments, our EEO Report is ready to submit. This web portal has given all of our clusters a simple way to add essential EEO information. It gives us the tools to easily maintain FCC compliance.”
Broadcast1Source is available to broadcasters nationwide. Leading clients of Broadcast1Source and its predecessor, EEO1Source, include some of the leading radio and television broadcasters with more than 80 Stations in a single group and as little as 1 Station.
