Saturday Night Shakedown to Release "Better Than Hollywood" CD

Flint, MI, February 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- "Better Than Hollywood" release date is March 2, 2009 it will release on iTunes and Amazon.com. "We are so excited to release these new songs, I know some of you have heard some of these songs at our shows but we truly think all of you will love them." said guitarist Mike Reed.

On April 17th, 2009 Saturday Night Shakedown is hosting their CD release show at the Eagle Theater in Pontiac Michigan. This event is being planned now and will contain a full lineup of Michigan's best pop/rock bands. Playing along with Saturday Night Shakedown will be the bands Atavan, Forever In A Day, Storms In May, The Threat and more TBA. The event is expected to draw music fans from around the state on the evening of April 17th.

Saturday Night Shakedown was started in May 2008 by members; Mike Reed & Josh Mondro. As time went on they found the perfect combination of members; Justen Snow, Steve Korff & John Estupigan. Since then they have recorded there soon to be released Debut EP "Better Than Hollywood" with Producer Rob Freeman (Hit The Lights, Cobra Starship, Armor For Sleep). They have played many shows, and have touched many different audiences with there varied genre of music. There first show in July of 2008 was a benefit show for Bands That Jam for Africa, and it was packed. At that show not only did they reach out to new fans, but they gained a sponsorship from Red Bull Energy Drink. Since then, they have been featured on earnityourself.com(s) online radio show based in California with a live over the phone interview with Mike Reed.
