Plano, TX, February 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Plano Area Mothers of Multiples (PAMOM) is hosting its annual gala and fundraiser on Saturday, February 28, 2009. Tickets are available to the general public at www.pamom.org.

The gala is PAMOM’s largest fundraiser of the year and is the main source of funding for the organization. The event will take place at Swingin' D Ranch in Plano. The theme is “Vegas” in celebration of the 15th Anniversary of PAMOM. The silent auction is currently open online at www.pamom.cmarket.com and is open to the public for bidding thru the month of February.

PAMOM President, Polly Harrison, stresses the importance of supporting this event, “PAMOM works actively to support mothers and families at a very vulnerable and fragile transitional time of their life. The services we provide are wide reaching and extend far into the community well beyond our group of members.” PAMOM works closely with and supports other non-profit groups such as Collin County Children’s Advocacy, Shower of Love, Early Childhood Intervention and the Very Special Arts Fest in Plano.

PAMOM is currently accepting contributions and sponsorship for the gala that will be acknowledged through a variety of avenues, based upon the level of sponsorship. Mrs. Harrison adds, “Supporting PAMOM with your donations and purchases during our annual Silent Auction guarantees the continuation of our community programs and equips us to further expand our commitment to good works. In this time of economic uncertainty, your help and our efforts are needed now more than ever.”

PAMOM is a non-profit organization that offers education, support, and services to mothers of multiples and their families. The group, which is open to residents in and around the Plano area, is committed to providing quality programs, including assistance to those who have difficulties adjusting as parents of twins, triplets, and quadruplets, as well as financial aid to those who suffer hardships; furthermore, PAMOM is actively involved within the community. PAMOM is constantly growing and currently represents over 300 women, including members, honorary members, and those expecting multiples.

PAMOM has a special room rate for attendees at Homewood Suites by Hilton® Plano-Richardson for the event night.
